Tetsu Kasuya Introduces the MUGEN Dripper!

Mugen (無限) is Japanese for 'infinite', referring to our belief that the V60 cone-shaped dripper has infinite possibilities.

The new MUGEN Dripper is here to prove it!

HARIO is proud to bring you a brand new coffee dripper: the V60 One Pour Dripper MUGEN! As you might have guessed from the name, one of the big differences with the regular V60 drippers is that the MUGEN is designed for one single pour. No blooming required!

As opposed to the regular V60 Dripper's spiralled ribs, the MUGEN has star-shaped ribs, allowing the paper of the filter to stick closely to the sides of the dripper. This in turn allows for a slower flow of water, resulting in more contact time between the coffee and the water. Just put in your favourite ground beans, add the water, and in 2~3 minutes you'll have a delicious hot cup of coffee!

Furthermore, the MUGEN features a unique, oval-shaped base. This allows you to easily check inside your mug while you're brewing! It also features a hole, so that you can hang the dripper on a hook, where it will decorate your wall with it's beautiful star-shaped pattern. Alternatively, you can also remove the base to place the MUGEN in a dripper stand.

But enough talk from our side... Take a look at the video below to see 2016 World Brewers Cup Champion Tetsu Kasuya introduce the MUGEN Dripper!

As you can see in the video, the MUGEN Dripper allows you to make a great cup of coffee in just one single pour.
