Microwave Glass Egg Cooker Recipes

No need to break out the frying pan or boil water every time you want some eggs... Just use HARIO's Microwave Glass Egg Cooker and you'll have delicious eggs in a matter of minutes!

We've gathered some example recipes that you can easily make at home, so make sure to try them out. And we'd love to hear from you if you come up with any new and delicious recipes, of course!

Scambled Eggs

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • Milk (a little bit)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Ingredients:

  1. Break the egg into the Egg Cooker glass.
  2. Add milk, salt and pepper, and stir properly.
  3. Put the lid on the glass, and heat the egg in the microwave at 500W, for 30~40 seconds.
  4. Take the Egg Cooker out of the microwave and stir the egg. Put the lid back on and let it sit with the residual heat for 1 minute.

Soft-Boiled Egg

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Ingredients:

  1. Break the egg into the Egg Cooker glass.
  2. Add the salt and pepper.
  3. Put the lid on the glass, and shake it lightly so that the stalks of the lid break the yolk.
  4. Heat the egg in the microwave at 500W, for 30~40 seconds.

Tip:

Keep an eye on the egg white as it is heated. Once this turns white, stop the heating and let the residual heat cook the egg further for a nice half-boiled yolk.

Dashi Egg

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • Dashi
    • White dashi, 1 tsp
    • Water, 30mL

Ingredients:

  1. Break the egg into the Egg Cooker glass and stir properly.
  2. Add in the dashi, and lightly stir.
  3. Put the lid on the glass, and heat the egg in the microwave at 500W, for 1~1,5 minutes.

Egg Soboro Bowl

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • Seasoning
    • Sugar, 1 tsp
    • Milk, 10mL
    • Salt

Ingredients:

  1. Break the egg into the Egg Cooker glass and stir properly.
  2. Add in the seasoning, and lightly stir.
  3. Put the lid on the glass, and heat the egg in the microwave at 500W, for 1~1,5 minutes.
  4. Take it out of the microwave and stir until the egg is scrambled into small chunks.
  5. Serve with rice and minced meat.

Tartar Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • Mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Parsley, to taste

Ingredients:

  1. Break the egg into the Egg Cooker glass. Add 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise, as well as salt and pepper, and stir properly.
  2. Put the lid on the glass, and heat it in the microwave at 500W, for 30~50 seconds.
  3. Take it out of the microwave and add another tablespoon of mayonnaise, as well as parsley and salt to taste. Stir this well, put the lid back on and let it sit with the residual heat for 1 minute.

Tip:

Depending on your preference, try to add finely cut pickles or onion for variation!
